Sunflower Seed Oil (Organic): A lightweight oil rich in Vitamins A, C, D, E, and beta-carotene. It absorbs quickly, is gentle on skin, and is non-comedogenic. It is also well-loved for its fatty acid content — particularly linoleic acid — which is known to be a component of the skin's natural barrier, and is often favored for its compatibility with a wide range of skin types.

Castor Oil: Known for its cleansing properties, it helps create a barrier that supports moisture retention. It also contains ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid that has been widely studied for its soothing characteristics, and its thick, viscous nature makes it a great supporting ingredient for balancing the texture of oil-based formulations.

Ground Oats (Organic, Gluten-Free): A gentle ingredient that may support light exfoliation and a soothing cleanse. Oats have a long history of use in skincare and are widely recognized for their compatibility with sensitive skin. They also naturally contain beta-glucan, a compound often associated with helping skin look and feel more comfortable after cleansing.

Green Tea Wax: Rich in antioxidants, it contributes to the balm's calming character and texture. Derived from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, green tea is one of the most studied botanicals in skincare and is widely appreciated for its polyphenol content — particularly EGCG — which is a potent antioxidant. Apply a dime-sized amount, warm between your fingers, and massage onto your face. Gently remove with a warm, wet cloth. Our balm can be used as your daily cleanser or as a step 2 in your 2-step cleansing method.
